VMath Global
Intensive Maths in English and Russian (A-level focus with Russian methodology)
Who Are We?
  • Key Information

Our tutors are highly qualified professionals with the best mathematical education in Russia (Department of Mechanics and Mathematics at Moscow State University, Department of Mathematics at HSE University). They have extensive experience teaching mathematics at all levels and in multiple languages.

  • Why Are We Familiar with the British Education System?

Sergey, the academic director and co-founder of VMath, has been leading A-level preparation at an international education centre for the past five years. Under his supervision, more than 20 teachers have helped over a hundred students prepare for their exams; many of them have been accepted into top British universities

  • Our Values (in Teaching and Beyond)

We give our students a great deal of freedom—at least until they start dividing by zero (although, to be fair, even that is sometimes fine!) We do not believe in achieving high results at any cost; instead, we strive to make the learning process enjoyable for every student.

Our Team
  • Sergey
Academic director, co-founder of VMath Global
A graduate of EHESS (Paris), he has been teaching mathematics for over 20 years to kids, teenagers, and sometimes adults, in Russian, English, and occasionally French. He knows the A-level Maths syllabus better than the Paris Metro map and hopes he is able to tell a good teacher from a bad one.
  • Alexander
General manager, co-founder of VMath Global
A qualified economist and psychologist (HSE), an experienced manager, and an inexperienced father. He has spent many years working in educational management and knows how to help teachers to teach and students to study, and how to make the system function smoothly. He naively believes that education is a science and stubbornly defends this position.
  • Anastasia
    Teacher
Teaching experience: over seven years. A graduate of the Department of Mathematics at HSE University, she has worked at some of Moscow's best schools (both state and private) and at the Centre for Pedagogical Excellence. While working at the Russian-British School she gained familiarity with the British maths curricula and a good understanding of exam requirements.
  • Sofya
    Teacher
Teaching experience: over eight years. A graduate of the Department of Mathematics at HSE University, she has been teaching maths at several leading schools in Moscow, as well as Gymnasia No. 1 in Tel Aviv. She is able to explain the difference between sine and cosine in three languages.
  • Egor
    Teacher
Teaching experience: over eight years. Educated at the Department of Mechanics and Mathematics at Moscow State University and the Faculty of Mathematics at HSE University, he has worked at School No. 57 in Moscow and the Pythagoras Educational Centre (Kazakhstan). He has prepared dozens of teenagers for exams and mathematical olympiads. He enjoys studying maths curricula from different countries and creating excellent teaching resources.
